BENUE KILLINGS: Pastor Adeboye Expresses Grief, Encourages Christians to Participate Fully in Politics
Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, on Saturday expressed grief on the issue of heartless killings in Benue and therefore encourages Christians to participate fully in politics.
At the Annual Ministers' Thanksgiving Service held at the New Arena of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Km 46, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, the General Overseer said "What is Dominion? I go to my own village, planted yam; You come from nowhere with your animals and allowed your animals to eat my yam. When I complain, you kill me; you are not arrested. Nothing happens to you. That is dominion..."
He therefore encourages Christians in Nigeria to participate fully in politics by becoming a member of political parties in order to take dominion of their destinies. He added: "If you don't like the political party to which you belong, you can tear your membership card and join another. Join a political party."
